Christmas Joy Offering
Sunday, Dec. 20 - A Presbyterian tradition
for almost 70 years, the Christmas Joy
Offering is one of the four special offerings
designated by the General Assembly of
the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) to
provide congregations direct ways of
supporting specific causes that help those
in need. This yearly offering goes to help
retired Presbyterian clergy and minority
colleges throughout the country. Please
give generously.

Project Angel Tree
"Project Angel Tree" is part of the
Prison Fellowship Ministry. Through
this ministry our congregation
provides gifts to children whose
parent has accepted Christ while
incarcerated. There will be a tree in
Boll Hall with angel tags that have
special Christmas gift requests from
the children. Please pick up an angel
tag so that you may become an angel
for a child. Also, volunteer to deliver
gifts to the children just before
Christmas. Additional information will
be in upcoming bulletins. Contact:

Hot Meals for the homeless and hungry
The Everyone Eats Program of the Ecumenical Theology Seminar in
Detroit provides approximately 300 hot meals to the homeless and
hungry every Wednesday. Volunteers welcome each client at the door, while
others prepare, plate and serve the meal "restaurant style." The program is
designed to offer a vision of community the clients seldom receive on the streets.
We partner with Faith Community Presbyterian of Novi to support this ministry. To join
us, meet in the east parking lot at 9:45 am, Sep.16, to carpool with your friends to
Detroit. We'll be back by 1 pm.
