Our help is needed to supply blood for
patients in Southeastern Michigan.
There are more than 4,000 children
who will need blood this summer, right
here in our own community.
If you are at least 17 years old, weigh
100 pounds or more, and are in good
health, you qualify to donate blood.
You can make an appointment in Boll
Hall after Sunday services starting
Aug. 3, or make an appointment
directly with Debby DeLaby at 248
347-1063 or ddelaby@twmi.rr.com.
The entire process takes about an
hour, including registration, a health
history, a blood sample and a
mini-physical. The actual donation
takes about ten minutes. Most units of
blood collected are separated into
components, allowing your donation
to help three people in need. Your
donation does make a difference.
