Northville Civic Concern was founded in 1983 by a group of concerned citizens for the benefit
of the needy in Northville and Northville Township. Each month our church members gather food
and household supplies for Northville Civic Concern. In addition to the monthly items listed
below, gas cards, store gift cards and monetary gifts (checks made out to Northville Civic
Concern) are also greatly appreciated and accepted. Northville Civic Concern will act as a
liaison for furniture, appliances and household items to help the needy. (You are eligible to
receive a charitable tax receipt for your donations at Civic Concern.)

We are so grateful to all those that supported
our School Back Pack and Food Distribution
Day! Your contributions were greatly
appreciated by the children who receive new
back packs and supplies they will need for
school this fall.
Our most recent goal is to have schools,
businesses, churches, etc. take one month for
a food drive so that Civic Concern will have a
steady flow of food for our clients. That does
not negate our need for individual donors to
participate. As you know the need is always
present and we never really know how much
will come in each month. Currently, we have
10 months covered...August (for next year)
and September are open, so if you know of a
