Northville Civic Concern - Ongoing Founded in 1983 for the benefit of the needy in Northville City and Township. We provide food, household supplies and other items monthly. for a lis of what is needed, check our Civic Concern webpage.
Everyone Eats at ETS – Third Wednesday of Every Month The Everyone Eats Program provides approximately 300 hot meals to Detroit's homeless and hungry, while emphasizing social transformation and social responsibility. Volunteers welcome each client at the door, while others prepare, plate and serve the meal "restaurant style." The program is designed to offer a vision of community the clients seldom receive on the streets. We partner with Faith Community Presbyterian to support this ministry.
Habitat for Humanity – dates TBA Habitat for Humanity bring families and communities in need together with volunteers and resources to build decent, affordable homes. Founded as a Christian organization, Habitat welcomes volunteers of varied skill levels from all walks of life who are committed to helping us eliminate poverty housing from the world. Sign up to volunteer at our table in Boll Hall.
Clothing Drive – Sep. 19 and 26 The clothing drive will benefit the Open Door Ministry at Fort Street Presbyterian Church. The Open Door serves over 400 meals each Thursday, and also provides clothing, showers, medical services, haircuts, access to a social worker and job postings. Clothing will be collected on the east side of the church. Suggested items include women's business clothing, winter clothes and bed linens.
CROP Walk – Oct. 4 The annual CROP Walk is neighbors walking together to take a stand against hunger in our world. Together we raise awareness and funds for international relief and development, as well as local hunger-fighting. Get involved by walking, volunteering to work along the route, or sponsoring our walkers.
Thanksgiving Meal at Westminster – November Westminster Presbyterian Church of Detroit feeds nearly 2,200 each year at Thanksgiving time. Our church donates help, and 800 pounds of turkeys. This outreach draws many people who donate turkeys, pies and money.
Salvation Army Kettle Drive – December The Salvation Army Kettle Drive is a great "hands-on" experience and each Christmas it has been very gratifying for our church to be a part of "Ringing of The Bell" for the Salvation Army. Our congregation has provided leadership for the whole Northville area.

Flood Relief trip to Cedar Rapids, Iowa – Sep. 13-17 In June of 2008, Iowa experienced historical floods that overran Iowa City and Cedar Rapids with more that 14 to 18 feet of water. Hands-on Mission sent three groups to Iowa in the past nine months.
Hurricane Relief Trips – Oct. 31 - Nov. 8 The Presbytery of Detroit will be going to the Olive Tree PDA camp in Louisiana to help rebuild lives and homes devastated by hurricanes in the past few years.
